NATURE lovers will have the chance to learn about the wonderful world of fungi with professional naturalist Nigel Pinhorn.

On Saturday November 5 Nigel will lead a walk through Abbeyford Woods near Okehampton to talk about the array of fungi in the woods. His vast experience leading talks for Devon Nature Walks will ensure an interesting and relaxing morning.

With the clocks due to go back this weekend, autumn is now in full swing in the woods. Nigel's walk will pass majestic douglas fir trees and gold beech trees along the banks of the Okement river.

The foray through Abbeyford Woods starts at 10.30am and should finish at around 12.30pm. It costs £6 per person and booking at least 48 hours in advance is essential.
