IN the final of the Doris Willes-Little Foursomes, Tavistock Golf Club?s Victoria Coe and Bev Ruth recovered from 2 down at the turn to win on the last hole against Nicky and Kerry Gawman. They have now qualified to play in the Devon Inter-Club competition.

To complete an unsuccessful week for Nicky, David Anthony beat her in the final of the Hampshire Cup. He is celebrating his 50th year as a member of Tavistock Golf Club.

In the Sir Francis Drake Winter Foursomes, Andrew and John Coe?s 3 and 2 win over Brian Williams and K M Cole puts them in the final. They await the winners of John/Alan Gawman and Jeremy Tucker and James Ruth.

The Plate event saw Graham Ruth and Dave Burge defeat Mike Apps and A Cooper.

In the Junior Winter matchplay tournament all the quarter-finals were played, resulting in the following semi-final line up: Daniel Lowe v Sam Webster, Daniel Rosevear v Adam Waddle.
