BERE never really got out of second gear but still won at a canter.

Ian Crabb flicked home a free kick and Darren Halfyard did the same ten minutes later.

Good passing and Halfyard broke into the box to score with a crisp shot for the third. Ian Crabb scored a bullet header from another free kick.

Bere carried on in the second half making and missing numerous chances before Ross Hann broke clear to rifle home. Crabb hit home his third from a Daymond centre.

This Saturday division one cup, semi-final second leg, Altarnun away, 2.30pm kick-off.

Pensilva 1

BERE were outstanding in the first half. Steve Daymond first shot was parried but he reacted first, rounded the keeper and scored through the legs of the defender on the line

Rob Hawkins broke clear and his first shot was partly saved ? he got to the loose ball and was brought down by the keeper. Mark Wheeler stroked home the penalty.

Hawkins scored a cracker after interpassing. He hit a 25 yard shot to beat Pensilva?s keeper.

Bere started the same in the second half. A Daymond free kick cannoned off the crossbar and Hawkins scissor-kicked home from ten yards for a brilliantly outrageous goal.

Bere eased up and Pensilva passed forward, getting a consolation goal.
