A WOMEN'S World Day of Prayer Service will be held next week, where women and men will gather to celebrate using a programme of worship, this year by women in Egypt.

The theme for this year's service is 'Streams in the Desert' and attendees will be asked to reflect on the Christian role of being a 'stream in the desert' for those who experience a 'spiritual drought'.

All are welcome to attend the service at the United Reformed Church in Tavistock on March 7 at 2pm, where the speaker will be The Rev Phyllis Ball.
