WOMEN are invited to pray for the welfare of our country at Tavistock Methodist Church on Saturday, February 8, as part of a national event organised by Lydia Fellowship International.

The womens? prayer group, which was established in 1970 by Shelagh McAlpine, has arranged for women to come together in worship between 10am and 12.30pm at venues across England. The focus of prayer will be families, marriages, children and the threat of war in Iraq. All women are welcome to join in.
