TAVISTOCK police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a 13-year-old schoolboy by three youths last week.

The attack took place at about 4.55pm on Thursday, October 11 in Brook Street, Tavistock.

A spokesperson for the police said: 'As this is the main shopping street it is expected that the incident will have been seen by a number of people.

'The three youths are all thought to be in their teens and were wearing hoodies and either tracksuit trousers or jeans.'
