ORDULPH got off to a superb start when following a run from Joel Anderson the ball fell to the feet of Stephens who struck it sweetly home.
The game turned into a midfield battle with neither side getting a real chance before the visitors equalised when a loose ball was put away well by a University striker.
After half time the visitors took the lead with a good goal after some positive football. With 20 minutes to go Ordulph started pressing hard looking for the equaliser with Phillpotts and Pilbeam linking up well. They were rewarded when Cowling broke down the wing and passed to an unmarked Sherrell on the penalty spot, who hit the ball into the bottom corner to make 2-2.

ORDULPH were behind within three minutes after a long ball caught the defence square and Manadon were ahead.
James Phillpotts equalised with a powerful header from a Brockington corner and Ben Stephens soon followed suit to put the Ordulph ahead. However the visitors soon replied after Ordulph appealed in vain for an offside.
Manadon started the second half well with a free header from a corner, and capitalised on some poor defending, slotting past keeper Tom Wellard. Ordulph did pull a goal back as Phillpotts set up Joel Anderson to tuck home and set up a nervy last few minute for FC Manadon, who held on for their deserved victory.

MANAGER Kev Murphy was pleased with Ordulph's win against a good side. The game was tight throughout the first half, however an injury to Ordulph's defender Rob Moloney saw him go off for treatment, and Western took advantage, cutting the Ordulph defence apart before their striker tapped in. Ordulph keeper Ashley Woodrow kept his side in the game with a superb one on one save.
The second half was just as competitive. Ordulph equalised when Phillpotts played Anderson in — he squared for Ben Stephens to fire home. Stephens almost put the Ordulph ahead with a close range header. The game changed when Western were awarded a penalty after a rash challenge from Paul Hoskin. The penalty however was put wide and Ordulph stepped up a gear.
It was not long when Anderson's driven cross was driven into the back of the net by a Western player for an own goal. Ross Sherrell almost killed the game off but for a superb defensive block. Woodrow produced another superb save late on tipping a volley over the bar.
In stoppage time the game was sealed when Paul Gliddon crossed for Paul Hoskin to head home.
