THISTLES attacked from the start and the early pressure created chances. Thistles took the lead from a corner which resulted in an own goal, but the lead was short lived as St Cleer equalised just before half time.

Thistles were inspired in the second half and again took the lead with a goal from Morgan Warnett but St Cleer soon equalised. Thistles did not let their heads drop and soon Warnett put Thistles ahead with his second goal.

It could have been four but another 'goal' was ruled offside. St Cleer snatched two late goals to win the game.

WITHIN minutes Thistles were a goal up thanks to a great strike from Dom Evans. A great save from Max Koch preserved the lead as Horrabridge sent the message that this was not going to be an easy match for Thistles.

Fortunately Tavistock were able to step up a gear and goals from Morgan Warnett , Charlie Phare, and Billy Walker gave Thistles a four goal lead at half time.

Thistles knew this game was not in the bag, and with Horrabridge looking a different team it took some great defending from Henry Dandy, Ben Gentle and Thomas Poole to keep Thistles in the game and prevent Horrabridge from scoring.
