WILL Carter of Tavistock College took part in the annual one mile Padstow to Rock charity swim on Saturday in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Trust.
Will joined 100 other participants in the first wave of elite swimmers in choppy conditions across the Doom Bar completing the challenge in 23 minutes. Will is hoping to complete other open water charity swims in the region including the Torbay mile swim across the bay in aid of Devon Air Ambulance in September.
