A CHRISTMAS shopping and craft fair event has been organised by North Tawton Business Action Group to provide a more relaxed shopping experience.
The fair, on Saturday, November 15, will feature local traders and craftspeople selling a wide range of goods.
Chairman Nigel Davies said: 'This will be the third craft fair organised by the Business Action Group and it is our intention to hold four "seasonal" fairs per year in North Tawton.
'Such events not only give an outlet to local crafts people in promoting their products, but also provide unusual gifts for the people of North Tawton. We hope that they also help to promote North Tawton itself as a retail area and bring people in from outside the town, which can only be of benefit to everyone.'
The fair will be staged at the Youth and Community Centre, Barton Street, North Tawton, from 10am to 2pm.
