Members and supporters of the High Moorland WI?group are pictured above camped out overnight on Princetown's village green to raise money for a cause close to their heart.

They slept in a ShelterBox tent to raise awareness and funds for the Shelterbox Syria appeal — helping those who have found themselves homeless due to the civil war in Syria .

The hardy fundraisers camped out on Saturday night and Sunday morning using a ShelterBox tent.

It was not the first time the WI have raised funds this way, having camped out before in a similar exercise on behalf of the Tsunami Appeal.
