Two bottles of bubbly went to the worthy winners of a charity quiz at the Post Inn, Whiddon Down, last week.
Pete Miles, Bella Snook, Gaynor and Alun Williams. They were full of diverse knowledge such as who kept her face in a jar by the door (Eleanor Rigby), which was the second holiday camp built by Billy Butlin (Clacton) and which is the longest river in England (the Severn), they romped home with a clear lead ahead of the other eleven teams, all of whom helped to raise £60 for Devon Air Ambulance.
