MOST days I walk along the canal path and through the Meadows. I try to overlook the discarded food packaging, bottles, cans etc as I admire the natural beauty around me.
Today, that was difficult, the litter was much worse along with a condom and numerous amounts of dog faeces. The graffiti in the underpass has increased, along with smashed beer bottles. At the weekend a post newly cemented in had been dragged there. Saplings in the meadows have been broken off. The majority of us appreciate our lovely town. Who are these empty headed, mindless ?yobs??
Tavistock does not want you, if you don?t like it here, then go somewhere else, preferably as far away as possible!
If you can?t afford the cost of travel there would be no shortage of donors to hire a cattle truck (preferably recently used and unwashed!) to transport you on a one way journey to your destination ? bon voyage!
