POLICE in Tavistock are appealing for information following the theft of a valuable ram from a field at Quither, near Chillaton.

The white Lleyn ram, which had no horns, went missing from a field of 19 ewes some time between October 19 and 20.

The ram was valued at £600.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious should call officers at Tavistock Police Station.
