THANK you for publishing the letter from Mr Quinn of the West Devon Green party last week. What a load of emotional rubbish! He quotes . . . ?WHO human-induced climate change causes 150,000 deaths a year? . . . Wow! where did WHO get those statistics from? What a blinkered organisation they must be. How can we prove climate change is human induced? Is every molecule of CO2 labelled? Is one called ?Mr Quinn made me? or another called ?St Helen?s made me?? ?Greenland ice swells ocean rise?. . . I don?t understand that. It doesn?t make sense. The ice isn?t swelling and the oceans have always risen and fallen. And they always will, even when we are gone. ?Climate change far greater threat than terrorism says the government chief scientist? . . . Hey Mr Quinn get with it. The government scientist will say that because he works for the government. Tony wants you to believe this . . . then he can avoid his obligations to terrorism in the name of a new green crusade. He can build loads of inefficient windmills, subsidised by hard working and oppressed people and so be seen to be saving the world, then, hey presto, he gets voted back in again! Another four years of extreme taxation and rural desecration . . . Awesome! Remember this. There is no proof of human-induced global warming because CO2 can?t have labels and us humans have never lived through global warming so we ain?t got no proof its happening.
