A WEST Devon woman who is serving with the Royal Naval Reserve in Afghanistan has been playing host to some famous visitors.

Lt Sally Armstrong, a media operations officer in Helmand Province, has to look after and organise programmes for the many journalists and broadcasters based there.

Famous visitors have included Prime Minister Gordon Brown and two sporting heroes — cricketer Freddie Flintoff and former footballer Gary Lineker, shown with Sally.
