ENQUIRIES are being made as to how best to use £1,600 which was left after a skatepark project was scrapped in Calstock. The money is being held by Calstock Parish Council and ideas are being sought as to how it can be used. Parish clerk Julia Massey said a group of young people tried to get a skatepark project off the ground but disbanded when there was local opposition to the scheme for Calstock playing field. It is hoped the money can still be used for a project for the teenagers. Anyone with ideas can contact the clerk on 01822 832931.
