A BIG thank you to my grandson Tyler, who at  seven years has raised the fantastic sum of £1,135 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, Okehampton FRG.

Tyler cycled 15 miles from Coypool in Plymouth to Tavistock. What a boy, I am so proud of him, as are many others.

Many thanks also go to his parents Pete and Helen who organised the event, and supported him throughout.

Thanks to Dartmoor Cycles who loaned Tyler a  bicycle for the day (his own bike had no gears) plus Jonathan Tiernan Locke and James Bird who joined and supported Tyler at Yelverton for his epic ride.

However the biggest thanks go to you the general public, friends and family for all of your donations

We are truly grateful. We will beat blood cancers

ONCE again I would like to thank the generous residents of Tavistock for supporting our stall in the pannier market on November 16.

The sum of £135 was raised to pay for a Christmas party and to subsidise a lunch, in the new year.

Thank you so much from the members of Tavistock Parkinson's Support Group.
