THE Tavistock branch of the University of the Third Age visited Westminster recently for a tour of the corridors of power.
The group had a full tour of the Houses of Parliament and then met West Devon and Torridge MP John Burnett in the Grimond Room of Portcullis House.
Mr Burnett gave a talk about his work at Westminster, which was followed by a question and answer session.
The group of 51 members also enjoyed a birds-eye view of the capital from the London Eye.
The trip was organised by Mrs Jay Windsor-Smith, of Tavistock.
