FIVE West Devon people have recently completed the Shine Night Walk through London for Cancer Research UK.

Annie Caple and Nick and Lisa Blowey from Okehampton and Steve and Wendy Penna from Sticklepath completed the 26.2-mile walk in eight hours and 59 minutes and have raised over £3,500.

Over 20,000 people took part in the walk from Southwark Park to Old Billingsgate and have raised in excess of £4-million this year.

The group expressed thanks to everyone who supported them, especially The Taw River for organising charity events, Quinns for their raffle and the Starlight Ladies who helped organise a coffee morning earlier in the year.
