HAVING lost my purse in Tavistock last week, may I first of all thank the person who eventually thought to put it in a local letterbox on Monday.  I can only hope that the £80 you stole from it was spent wisely. More importantly I want to offer my special thanks to the kind Tavistock postman, named Mike, who found the purse whilst emptying the box. Having been unable to locate my phone number, he drove all the way out to Gunnislake to return it personally. I was so grateful because there were family photos in the purse which were irreplaceable.
