I WAS amused by the apparent inability of Tavistock Town Council to decide whether or not to allow the visitors from Celle to park their cars on the 'Granite Desert'.

Seemingly, vehicles are prohibited by the council to park on this area, yet week by week a procession of trader vans use it, presumably with authority from the town council.

Personally, I would prefer the square to look busy, and have no objection to vehicles using it, and would be delighted if the council were to extend an invitation to our German guests to park their 'show' vehicles on the Square.
