THE weather again beat Tavistock AFC last weekend with both the Jewson game against Millbrook and the P & D side's one at Tothill against Mount Gould suffering.

Langsford Park had water flowing through the entrance on Friday straight onto the pitch and it soon became apparent that it would not be in any fit condition for football the following day. The game was called off then. The Corporation pitch at Tothill suffered the same fate.

The Jewsons side's game this weekend is at Torpoint. Kick-off 2.30pm.

Tavistock's P & D side are in cup action this Saturday when they take on Plymouth City in the George Gillan Cup at Langsford Park with a 2.30pm kick-off.

It is cup action again on Tuesday February 6 with the Jewson side taking on Plymouth Parkway in the quarter-final of the South Western League Cup at Langsford Park with a 7.30pm kick-off.
