I READ the letter from Henry Buckton who is asking for help from those who have a connection with the Battle of Britain.

I, along with so many others who were children at the time when the 'faithful few fought bravely', look back with thankfulness for the freedom we have enjoyed.

Now we have another kind of battle on our hands. We who have placed enormous value on the freedom of our sovereign state, will have the opportunity to voice our protest at the European election on June 4. Children born in this century will hold us accountable for how we use our vote. We need to find out what the issues are and to help us, plans are being made to hold a Question Time in Okehampton prior to the election — details from [email protected]">[email protected]
