OVER the last month, we have had three alleged ?students? trying to ?doorstep? sell us their drawings/artwork. They usually have a card stating they are from Poland/Bosnia, or some such middle European country and have very little English. Last week, I was attempting to get my three-week-old son to sleep at 8.30pm, and another one arrived to bother me! Some of our lovely neighbours are well into their retirement and will not want to be bothered by these people repeatedly bothering them. Has anyone else had this problem? Are they really students or illegal immigrants? Will the Police investigate? They get short shrift from our household now. G Sansom Address supplied
