DESPITE the relentless cold weather the rapidly lengthening daylight hours suggest that summer may, possibly, be just around the corner — and time for cricket.
Behind the scenes Whitchurch Wayfarers Cricket Club are gearing up for a special season. A full fixture card is coming together offering all members an exciting and varied season.
All ages start their net training sessions on Sunday at Tavistock College. Colts sessions start at 2.30pm and men at 7.30pm.

* WHITCHURCH Wayfarers Cricket Club starts its 2010 preparation this Sunday with Colts U11s, U13s and U15s having a combined session at Tavistock College sports hall, 2.30pm till 4pm.
Any interested boy/girl are welcome to attend; it will cost £2 per session.
Further sessions are planned on March 7, 21 and 28. Men's training also starts this Sunday at the same venue, 7.30pm - 9pm.
All current and new palyers are welcome and the sessions continue on March 7, 14, 21, and 28 at 7.30pm - 9pm.
