Whitchurch Wayfarers v Woodland Fort
WHITCHURCH made it three wins on the bounce,with another good performance over Woodland Fort. Fort won the toss and elected to field. As last week, Hodge and G Hall (20) saw off the openers and paved the way for the middle order to attack
And attack they did, as Chappell scored 93 including 12 boundaries, Richardson 38 and Mansfield 30, a quickfire 20 from Mills helping Whitchurch post a formidable total 241 for 7. White and Wilson took 3 wickets apiece for Fort.
Fort collapsed immediately to 12-4, thanks to three wickets from Davies and a fine catch by Richard Hall. Davies went on to record figures of 5 for 19 off 11 overs. Tamblin chipped in with 2 for 22, including a one handed catch off his own bowling. Mills wrapped things up, as Fort crumbled to defeat, bowled out for 54, Whitchurch winning by 187 runs.
This week Whitchurch hope to continue their climb up the E division table as they visit Ivybridge.

Whitchurch Wayfarers v Cornwood
WHITCHURCH were invited to bat first on a pitch that offered encouragement to the bowlers. They made a slow start with just 18 coming off the first 15 overs. However, with wickets in hand, Warwick (50) and Sweet (29) responded and helped Whitchurch post a challenging total of 115.
Despite 31 from Friendship, Cornwood came up short of the target. Excellent bowling from Sweet (4-15), Folley (2-25) and Reeve, who though wicketless, conceded just 7 runs from 9 overs. Whitchurch the victors by 31 runs. This week Whitchurch are at home to St Stephens.
Whitchurch Wayfarers v Tavistock — friendly
TAVISTOCK batted first in this encounter between the two sides in the town. Crudgington setting the wheels in motion with a fluent 76.
He had a stand of 84 with Luscombe (25), the only other notable contributor in a total of 155 for 8 dec. Wood 3 for 41 and Barriball 2-4 their main wicket takers.
In reply, Whitchurch made light work of their target. Pedrick built the foundations with 42 and Barriball completed the task in a partnership of 79 with Warwick, Barriball closing unbeaten on 80, which included 2 sixes and 9 fours. Whitchurch winning by 8 wickets with 10 overs to spare.
On Sunday, Yelverton are the visitors to Whitchurch.
