TWO wins on the trot for Whitchurch Wayfarers Tamar League side put them in good heart for the second half of the season.
After a good start from Rae and Folley, Whitchurch lost wickets regularly until man of the match Steve Wood with newcomer John Townsend saw them home. Brian Gould with 4 - 31 was the pick of the Cornwood bowlers.
And Whitchurch beat Lewdown comprehensively by 94 runs in the Tamar League Division A.

For Lewdown, Charlie Hughes took 3 for 34 and Andy Vernon 4 for 28. The Lewdown innings never really got going. Wickets fell regularly with Kit Reeve (4 for 17) and Graham Horler (2 for 13) making early inroads into the batting and Andy Alford (3 for 4) and Tom Ingram (1 for 3) efficiently mopping up the tail to bowl out Lewdown for 39.
A great all round team effort by Whitchurch. Good batting and bowling, backed up by excellent fielding and catching.
l Chris Meadows took two important catches in a rare appearance for Whitchurch Wayfarers.
