ON behalf of the two Marg's we would like to say a big thank you to all the people who came to the Bere Ferrers Water Sports, everyone who had a stall or helped in any other way.

We had a super day, thanks to the weather, and we look forward to seeing you all next year — date to be known later.

ON August 1 Tavistock Golf Club, under the leadership of Patrick Stewart and Mark Hoar, put on a golf day to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's UK research and the local Parkinson's Support Group.

Patrick, Mark and a large group of helpers worked so shard to make the day a great success. They were well supported by the golf club members.

Please may I take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone for all they did and for making us so welcome on the day.
