A SECOND world war medal has been found on the Redrow Estate in Tavistock, and the owner is asked to come forward to collect it.

The medal is a 1939-1945 Star with a non-matching ribbon attached.

The medal is damaged and was found in Tiddybrook Meadows, within the boundaries at the top end close to Plymouth Road.

The medal has been registered with the police so the owner can contact or visit Tavistock Police Station or Jo Tracey on 01822 613008.
