I AM writing in respect of a letter (issue March 28) from Mrs Caroline Day about Hexworthy Ward, Derriford Hospital, and can only say that I endorse her comments.

I myself was in the same ward for a fortnight and can only say that the nursing care, food and cleanliness were excellent.

There are a lot of complaints these days, it was really nice to hear of someone with the same view as myself.
