THE Tavistock Walk and Talk group welcomed its youngest member, Serenity May, to the first walk of the New Year held on January 8.   Mum Mandi Bushell has been walking with the newly formed Tavistock group since it started in September of last year, initially as company for her own mum, Anna Kelly, who is recovering from cancer.  Before long, however, Mandi was herself recognising the health and social benefits that the weekly walk offered, particularly as her pregnancy advanced.  Being a stalwart supporter of the group, Mandi didn't even miss the final walk of 2007 which took place two days after her due date!  Baby Serenity made her appearance into the world a few days later on December 22, weighing in at a very healthy 10lbs 5ozs.  All the walking group would like to offer Mandi their congratulations on the birth of her daughter.
