IN blustery conditions Walkhampton continued their run of good results and moved into a promotion place following a determined performance against a spirited Devonport side. Devonport started strongly but it was a cross from the right by Dale Mullen who found Chris Shutt in space to place the ball home.

Devonport levelled mid-way through the first half following a goal mouth scramble, however Mullen restored Walkhampton's lead with a tidy finish into the corner. After a scrappy first half of the game Walkhampton changed formation and got their passing game in order and soon extended their lead with a brace from Dean Collings.

Mark Gibbins completed the scoring to give the visitors a deserved win.
