MEMBERS of the Marauders Walking Group and their families turned out on one of the coldest days of the year to fly kites in support of Brentor-based children's charity CHICKS.

The 'Make a Memory — Fly a Kite' campaign, sponsored by Wrigleys, was launched by CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) to encourage people to buy and fly a CHICKS kite in support of UK's disadvantaged children.

Jo Westerman, CHICKS Community Fundraiser, said: 'We would like to thank the Marauders for hosting such a great event. Everyone enjoyed themselves in spite of the cold weather.'
