WALKERS are invited by Dartmoor Preservation Association members to join them on a walk that starts in the village of Widecombe in the Moor then takes in the commanding heights above it.

This is a varied walk via Hameldown, the Bronze Age village of Grimspound, Natsworthy Gate, Honeybag and Chinkwell Tors, and Bonehill Rocks. The walk is approximately eight miles with one steep climb.

Meet at 10am at Widecombe village main car park (SX 719 768) on Tuesday, March 6.
