ALL are welcome to join the Tavistock branch of the British Heart Foundation's walk across the moors on Sunday, September 7. Meeting at Kings Oven near the Warren House Inn, Postbridge at 10am, there are routes of five and ten miles. These routes are led by experienced leaders and they are designed to inform the walker of the antiquity of Dartmoor. A pokesperson for the group said: 'The Tavistock BHF committee organise a walk about this time every year and this will be the 23rd walk. 'Because we are all getting older this could well be the last. New walkers are welcome and anyone who has walked with us in the past is invited to come along, bringing friends and family to help make this one the best yet.'
