dog owners are invited to join a special fundraising dog walk which will raise vital funds for a Tavistock-based dog rescue charity.

Small Paws Dog Rescue is a not-for-profit group which helps small breed dogs at risk in the UK and now Ireland. The organisation vaccinates, microchips and where necessary, neuters all the dogs it takes in.

The fundraising walk, organised by Small Paws Dog Rescue volunteers Amanda Duggan and John Carpenter, will take place at 2pm on Sunday, May 19 at Burrator Reservoir. All are welcome to come and enjoy a social walk with canine companions. Dogs should be on a lead — please bring poo bags.

The cost is £3 per dog.

All proceeds will go to Small Paws Dog Rescue, to help with vet and food bills for rescued dogs.
