THE Roots to Transition volunteers would like to thank the kind people of Tavistock who responded to our plea for a water butt to replace the one that had been vandalised at the Rose Walk. You may have seen that Tavistock Lions, with the help of Lawsons, generously donated a new water butt. In addition to this we have had several donations of 'preloved' ones so we have been able to solve the water collection problems both at Rose Walk and at the polytunnel where we propagate our seeds and cuttings. We are very keen to find new volunteers.
