WEST Devon CVS is celebrating trustees at a breakfast event at Roadford Lake Country Park on November 4. Trustees from voluntary and community organisations are welcome to attend as is anyone who may be interested in becoming a trustee. The event will celebrate the work and contribution of trustees, and support recruitment.

Following breakfast and an opportunity for gathering information about resources available for trustees, there will be a talk by Patrick Scott from Volunteering England, who leads the National Support Services Implementation project. Mr Scott is developing new ways of working through funding a range of activities across the country and will outline the implications for the volunteering movement during challenging times. There will also be questions and answers.

The West Devon CVS annual meeting will follow Celebrating Trustees at 10.30am and everyone is invited to attend.
