THE Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir, together with the Dowlais Male Voice Choir from South Wales, held a charity concert recently to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.

The concert, arranged by choir member Russell Northam-Palmer, was held in Tavistock's St Eustachius' Church.

A capacity audience enjoyed an evening filled with traditional and modern items, which was warmly received and appreciated by all present.

The concert raised £2,000 for the charity which will be duly presented at a later date when all monies are collected.
