RESIDENTS will find lots on offer at an advice and information roadshow touring rural towns and villages in West Devon next month.
Whether they are worried about health, social care, living independently or money — the West Devon Borough Council Connect road show will have experts who can offer support.
Devon Senior Voice will be joining the roadshow when it stops off at Hatherleigh.
Publicity officer Tim Hall said: 'We are a voluntary forum with a strong grassroots network of members that speak up on the issues that matter to older people.
'We are also in partnership with Healthwatch Devon — the independent watchdog for health and social care — to ensure that people's voices are heard. We would love them to come and see us.'
People can also get advice from a number of other agencies joining the roadshow, including Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Call24, Oakhouse Foods and Action on Hearing Loss — among others.
The sessions are open to people of all ages and there is always a borough council advisor on hand to help with questions about issues such as council tax, housing benefit, recycling and waste.
A Dartmoor National Park Ranger will be available at some locations to talk to people about life and work in the national park.
