THE Rev Philip Wagstaff will be the guest speaker at the next Okehampton mayoral breakfast on Wednesday, September 24. The breakfasts are open to everyone, and give an ideal opportunity to network with others in the town, including those working with community groups and in the business sector. Mr Wagstaff will be giving a short talk on how the work of the Okehampton Vision steering group has been progressing. Made up from representatives from different councils and the community, the group has been working towards co-ordinating future regeneration in the town. A full English breakfast will be available at £7.50 per person. It starts at 8am in the Charter Hall, and any profits will go to the mayor's charities, the Royal British Legion, Ocmundtune Creative Arts and Tear Fund Toilet Twinning.
