'I know that he is a great exponent of the Bach A minor concerto. Ken is also an outstanding viola player so we are particularly pleased that he will play Clive Jenkin's Romance for Viola and Strings on this occasion.'

The concert is entitled Romantic Serenade and the programme includes the Romance by Gerald Finzi in recognition of the composer's birth in 1901. There are two serenades by Elgar and Tchaikovsky. The concert will open fittingly for the venue with Holst St Paul's Suite.
