TAVISTOCK bounced back from last week?s defeat to run out convincing winners against Teignmouth .

An early try from prop Dave Vince was followed by a driven try by Tom Vanstone on the wing. All Tavistock?s backs sensed they could out-muscle their opposite numbers and all made good runs. Vince crossed for his second try before half-time with the score at 17-0.

With the second half only minutes old Vince powered through the midfield for his hat-trick.

Haig Gorman, Doug Lloyd and Dan Boreham also scored tries after heavy Tavistock pressure.

Sam Smerdon converted one try and Mike Rowe three. Tim Child put his opposite scrum half under pressure all game. Sam Lawson and Will Branfield ensured a steady supply of clean ball. Jed Bolt gave a master class of clearance kicking in the second half. Centres Lobban and Stribley found gaps galore in the Teignmouth defence which created several scoring opportunities.
