MUSIC of many different styles ranging from folk to classical to jazz and rock will be heard at a mini music festival taking place later this month. The Party in the Park event on Bridestowe sporting green is being held to raise funds for Bridestowe, Lydford and Sourton pre-school. Organisers already have a strong musical line-up but are keen to hear from any local talent interested in finding out how they can take part and perform at the evening. The summer entertainment gets underway from 7pm on Sunday, August 27. The Black Farmer, Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, who featured in a recent Channel 4 reality television show, will be opening the event, which will feature a barbecue, bar and cash prize draw.
