CUTE canines strutted their stuff at a recent companion dog show organised by the Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue.

The show was held at Lewdown Victory Hall and raised £618 for the rescue centre.

Winners of the four pedigree classes were: AV Puppy (6-12 months), Delilha (Celia Thompson); AV Sporting and Reserve Best in Show, Jaz (Tish Curran); AV Non Sporting and Best in Show, Trixie (Kim Mullaney); AV Open, Emma (Jennifer Venning).

Winners of the ten novelty classes: Crossbreed, Jake (Terry Andrews); Veteran and Reserve Best in Show, Esther (Hannah Back); Rescued/Rehomed and Best in Show, Bear (Ken Brooks); Long Coat, Mizzi (Mary Robertson); Short Coat, Elbie (Katie Deitrick); Appealing Eyes, Drake (Emma Jensen); Handsome Male, Big Red (Sam Maloney); Prettiest Female, Tegen (Elaine May); Best Movement, Jazz (Julia Little); Dog Judge Would Like to Take Home, Bean (Jayne Wood).

Thanks were expressed to everyone who supported the show, in particular to Jenny Symons who acted as judge.
