YELVERTON firefighters were called to two car fires at the end of last week. The first was at the former Yelverton Aerodrome at 8pm on Friday and the second on Roborough Down at 7.40pm on Saturday. Both vehicles were unattended and were severely damaged. Two Tavistock fire appliances were called to a fire in West Street, Tavistock at 10.36pm on Sunday, where an open fire had set light to a chimney.
