FIREFIGHTERS from North Tawton were called to a report of a vehicle on fire outside a property in the town last Friday (December 11).

Upon arrival the crew confirmed the fire was in the interior of the vehicle, which it extinguished using a hose reel jet, lighting and small tools.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental, which resulted in the vehicle being severely damaged.
