FIRE crews were called to a report of a vehicle on fire on the A30 between Sourton and Stowford on Monday afternoon.

Two crews from Okehampton attended at around 1.20pm and got to work using two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the car fire.

The car was left severely damaged by the blaze.
