ARTISTS are busy preparing for Okehampton Art Group?s annual exhibition which takes place next week.

The exhibition runs for two days, Thursday, July 29 and Friday, July 30, in the Church Hall next to Somerfield?s supermarket.

There will be a wide range of pictures on view, including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels and mixed media, depicting a variety of subject matter such as local views, flower and animal studies, landscapes and seascapes. Admission is free.

Mounted prints and cards will be on sale for those who want to take a touch of art home with them.

Okehampton Art Group was founded in 1986. Two founder members, Pauline Fletcher and Olive Darbyshire are still very active in the group which meets on Tuesday mornings.
